Donnie, I'll never forget the magic you brought to Roswell Rhythm in the mid-90's. Folks came from all over to hear you, Bear, and the Chicken Coop! Is the Bill that you've played with in recent years the same Bill that sometimes accompanied you at RR? Sorry I won't be able to get to Atlanta -- have a great birthday!

Bogie said:   October 25, 2008 3:57 pm PST
Over the years, I lost all my EQT music. My friend, Don Harvey, recently gave me some CD's. It's been a trip down memory lane! I'm so glad your music is available again! Y'all are the best honky tonk blues band ever. Thanks for your many years of commitment to producing ageless music.

Used to see eqt at Stone Pony on Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain, GA. My wife (Julie Stevenson) was a drink server along with Mary", I think...Donnie should know if the name Mary is correct, he and "Mary" were either married or engaged (mid 70's). Just reminiscing about the 70's here, gald to see that you guys are still around. If Mary is still around, have her contact Julie at: dannyjsat@gmail.com. I'm sure she'd like to hear from her. Thanks, Dan Satterfield Monroe, GA.

I am proud to be a part of the EQT legacy. I was at the "WP" when the album went down. Thanks to all of you for giving us real boogie. Nobody plays that kind of music these days. Keep it going, we surely will.

Glad to see you guys still makin music. I started listening to ya'll at "Grant's Lounge" in Macon , Ga. back in the early seventies. Still have a new sealed copy of Drinking Man's Friend that I bought in Burbank about fifteen years ago.(lost my first one) During that time Grant's was a mecca for rock and roll. Some of my best memories were made there listening to EQT along with White Witch, Mickey Duck, Wet Willie and of course when the club closed we all headed up to Hodges place to get some " Red Hot Chicken" and a couple of cold ones. Some of the best times of my life, for sure. I live out in Arizona now and a friend of mine burned some of your music to a CD for me and it's always in my truck for those road trips. Wish you guys could play out this way sometime. Rock on!

E aí rapazes, tudo jóinha? Pô caras, eu adoro o album "Drinking Man's Friend" e pretendo descolar o último EQT. Acho a banda ERIC QUINCY TATE do caralho!
