Dave - I really really like your song Loose Your Life and you present it so well on you tube. Tell it like it was Brother Dave. Your song Shooting Star is an absolute winner too - it's just so relaxing to listen to it. By the way - Who's the good looking woman playing bass? Hey - about this website I can't believe there is anybody still alive that can still remembers us. Most of the people I knew back then truly lived life for the moment - longevity wasn't exactly a concern. Besides that a lot has happen since then....go figure

I remember ya'll playing at Johnny's SmokeHouse in Pascagoula,Ms. I partied with you guys and had a wonderful time. I told everybody about this band that kicked ass...I got the Drinkin' man's Friend album and I about wore the threads down. Donnie even invited me and my ole man to Mobile to see ya'll and the Allman Brothers. Everything was wonderful and a good time was had by all. I'll always have those memories. I was so sad to hear about Donnie....I had the opportunity to meet his son on line and told him the story and he said he was pleased to meet me. Ya'll will always be in my sweetest memories.

I am a 24-year-old aspiring journalist currently working for Stomp and Stammer in Atlanta. My mom introduced me to EQT - her long time favorite band. I just wanted to drop a line and remind you that EQT is still entirely relevant. I love EQT as much as any modern band, probably more. My mom has purchased probably everything your merch section has to offer. It's amazing how devoted she still is and how easily it was passed down to me. I wish I'd been around to see it live. I love EQT!

Wayyyyyy back in 1972, I was a young lad of 16 or 17 (depending upon which part of 1972 it was...), living in Macon, GA., too young to go to a bar. But I managed to get into Grant's Lounge on Poplar Street in uh, "once or twice". And the very first time I went, EQT was playing. I'll never forget the feel of the music. It had a "soul". It was alive. And I remember especially Donnie at the drums, with that showy style of playing that he had and that down home voice. I saw them many times there after that first visit, even after I was "old enough" and had other places to distract me. I chose EQT. They were "real", unpretentious, and right on in every way that matters. I'm very glad to find this site and be able to get the music once more. Like a fine wine, EQT didn't get "old", they just got better as time went by. Very cool then. Very cool, now as well.
